Amazon Prime Video UK has announced that their first original drama series The Collection will premiere on Friday September 2nd. In a departure from how they unspool their US originals, Amazon has opted to air episodes of The Collection weekly. Following a heated bidding war, involving multiple UK broadcasters, Spike UK has struck a deal with international distributor Sky Vision for exclusive UK rights to ABC's rebooted Battlebots, TVWise has learned. The 'substantial' multi-season deal with Sky Vision will also see Spike UK share rights with sister net Channel 5. Mere days before Star Trek: Beyond is due to be released, Paramount Pictures, Skydance and Bad Robot Productions have green-lit a fourth film in the rebooted Star Trek series, also known as the 'JJ-verse'. The fourth as-yet untitled film will see Captain James T. Kirk cross paths with a man he never had a chance to meet, but whose legacy has haunted him since the day he was born: his father.
