Mammoth Screen Options DJ Target’s ‘Grime Kids’, Theresa Ikoko Set As Writer
Mammoth Screen has optioned the television rights to DJ Target's recently published book Grime Kids: The Inside Story Of The Global Grime Takeover. The indie secured the rights from Marium Raja at No Chiefs and Richard King at Orion. Theresa Ikoko has been set to adapt the book for TV. Originally published by Orion back in June, Grime Kids: The Inside Story Of The Global Grime Takeover is described as an explosive insider account of grime, from subculture to international phenomenon. The BBC has set the cast for Baptiste. Line Of Duty and Call The Midwife star Jessica Raine has signed on for a starring role in BBC One's The Missing spin-off, which hails from original series creators Jack and Harry Williams. She plays Genevieve. “We are so pleased to welcome Jessica Raine to our brilliant cast; her talent and commitment are perfect for Genevieve and we're really excited to see what she does with the character”, the Williams brothers said in a statement.
ITVBe has handed out an eight season renewal to The Real Housewives Of Cheshire, their local adaptation of Bravo's The Real Housewives franchise. The eight season is eyed for a premiere later this year.

Dr Christian Jessen is getting another series on W. Mere months after commissioning 12 Hours To Cure Your Street, the UKTV owned and operated channel has given the greenlight to Dr Christian: Special Clinics. The series is set to air on W later this year. 
Hang Ups - the UK adaptation of Lisa Kudrow's Web Therapy - will premiere on Channel 4 on Wednesday August 8th at 10pm, it has been announced.
