E4 Inks Sony Pictures Television Deal For Future Seasons Of ‘The Goldbergs’, Acquires Spin-Off ‘Schooled’

The Goldbergs is staying put on E4. The Channel 4 owned digi-net has inked a new deal with international distributor Sony Pictures Television and picked up the UK rights to future seasons of the ABC comedy. Additionally, E4 has acquired The Goldbergs' 1990s set spin-off Schooled. The sixth season of The Goldbergs is presently airing on E4 and Schooled will launch on the channel next month. Read More

ITV has set the cast for Sanditon. UKTV's Alibi channel has handed out a six episode series order to Traces, an original drama based on an idea by best-selling crime writer Val McDermid which hails from Red Production Company. This marks the first original drama commission for Alibi.
