Viacom International Studios Inks Distribution Deal With Awesomeness
Viacom International Studios has inked a deal with Awesomeness to handle international distribution for a large portfolio of series and films from the company, which focuses on creating original content for Gen Z and was acquired by Viacom in 2018. Under this agreement, Viacom International Studios' International Content Sales team will represent 18 Awesomeness TV series and 8 films. Specific titles include: the Emmy award winning series Zac & Mia; Light As A Feather, starring Peyton List; and You’ve Been Tagged, a social media thriller featuring Noah Centineo. Read More

Amazon is sticking with American Gods. Amazon Prime Video UK has picked up the exclusive UK rights to the recently ordered third season of the Starz original drama. The show's second season started airing on the streaming service last week. The pick up is part of a wider agreement inked by Amazon which will see them continue as the international broadcaster for American Gods in more than than 200 countries and territories worldwide. Animated comedy Tuca & Bertie will premiere on Netflix UK on Friday May 3rd, it has been announced.
Channel 4 has ordered Llas Vegas, a four episode observational documentary series following comedian Johnny Vegas and his assistant Bev as they set about establishing a holiday home camping site in North Wales. The series follows the pair as they source and renovate five vintage, single story buses and transform them into unique holiday homes on wheels on a site in Wales. But with no previous experience of running a business or conducting renovations on this scale, Johnny and Bev have a long battle ahead as they try to establish a must-stay glamping site in time for the summer season.
ITV2 has ordered Singletown, a relationship show that will see five couples press pause on their relationships and spend one summer living the single life in London. The series, which is set to air later this year, has received an order for fifteen episodes.
