TBS has greenlit production on a new comedy series created by Steve Byrne and Rob Long titled Sullivan and Son. The network has ordered 10 episodes for the show’s first season which is slated to premiere in the summer alongside new series’ Men At Work and The Wedding Band.
Exclusive: Damages, the legal drama series starring Glenn Close will end with season five, sources at DIRECTV confirm to TVWise exclusively. I’m being told that production is well under way on the shows fifth and final season, which runs 10 episodes, with DIRECTV’s Audience Network eyeing a June or July premiere date.
Sony Entertainment Television will begin airing Tess of the D’Urbervilles on Sunday February 12th at 4:50pm with two back to back episodes. The programme will then conclude the following week with the remaining two episodes. Sony’s screening of the programme, which stars Eddie Redmayne, is to celebrate the actors nomination for the Orange Rising Star Award, which will be awarded at the BAFTA’s on the same evening.
Exclusive: Sky Living will start airing the third season of Cougar Town in March, sources at the channel confirm exclusively to TVWise. I am also being told that while no firm premiere date has been set, they expect to announce the date within the next few weeks.

Bones fans rejoice! Fox’s @MaskedScheduler just took to twitter and revealed that Bones will be returning to Fox’s lineup in early April with seven new episodes.
Both Stella and The Cafe will be returning to Sky1. The broadcaster has announced that they have commissioned a second season of both series ordering a further 10 episodes of Stella and 8 episodes for The Cafe.
ABC Family has ordered a new one hour drama series from Amy Sherman-Palladino (Gilmore Girls) titled Bunheads.
