ABC has released their schedule for the summer, including premiere dates for the new seasons of Rookie Blue, Bachelor Pad and The Bachelorette as well as new shows Final Witness, Duets and Trust Us With Your Life.
In one of the many deals to emerge from MIPTV 2012, ARTE France has signed up to co-produce BBC Four’s upcoming mini-series Spies of Warsaw. The two part historical drama is based on the series of novels by Alan Furst and is being adapted by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais.
The final season of A Town Called Eureka will receive its UK premiere on Syfy UK on Wednesday May 16th at 9pm, it has been announced.
E4 has announced that US comedy series 2 Broke Girls will receive its UK premiere on Thursday April 19th at 9pm.
Brian Goodman has been upped to a series regular for the upcoming third season of TNT’s hit drama series Rizzoli & Isles.
Hot In Cleveland will return to Sky Living to finish airing its 22 episode second season, TVWise has learned. I’m being told that the remaining 12 episodes of season 2 will return to the channel in May, although that is not set in stone and may be subject to change. Sky Living previously aired the first ten episodes of the show’s second season between April and June 2011.
MIPTV, the international trade show where producers, distributors and buyers get together to purchase, sell and finance their projects, kicks off tomorrow in Cannes, France. With over 4000 buyers and 1500 exhibiting companies attending, there is plenty on offer.
More4 does have the UK broadcast rights to the fourth season of TNT’s drama series Southland, TVWise has confirmed. I’m being told that More4 is eyeing an Autumn premiere for the series, but that is not set in stone and may be subject to change.
