BBC Two & Showtime have renewed their comedy series Episodes for a third season of nine episodes which is set to air in 2013. Production on the new season will begin in Los Angeles and London early next year.
Back in March of this year, Universal Channel announced that they had secured the rights to Canadian drama series Flashpoint and would begin airing the series on March 19th. Universal kept airing the series weeknights at 8pm and had, rather quickly, arrived at the end of season 3 in which the character Edward Lane was shot, ending that season on a cliffhanger. Since then we have received a number of questions on the series that revolved around 1) Universal’s labelling of seasons and 2) when the series would return. Leading us to today’s question from Sarah, which asked “What the hell is going on with Flashpoint on Universal Channel? Is it coming back?” I’ll answer these as best I can below:
The fourteenth season of NBC’s long running drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will receive its UK premiere on Sunday October 14th at 10pm, it has been announced.
BBC One has ordered a new drama series from Silk creator Peter Moffat titled The Village. The broadcaster has given the series a six episode order and The Village is expected to air on BBC One in 2013.
A&E has renewed its long running drama series The Glades for a fourth season. The network has ordered 13 episodes for the show’s fourth season which is slated to air in 2013 alongside the second season of Longmire and A&E’s newest scripted series Bates Motel.
