Robert Webb (Fresh Meat), Montserrat Lombard (Ashes to Ashes), Hermione Norris (Spooks), MyAnna Buring (The Twilight Saga), Daniel Rigby (Eric & Ernie), Warren Brown (Good Cop), Oliver Ford Davies (Game of Thrones), Sir Antony Sher (The Shadow Line), Alastair Mackenzie (Black Mirror), Pippa Bennett Warner (Case Histories), Charity Wakefield (Leaving), Kingsley Ben-Adir and South African actor Anele Matoti have all been cast in ITV1’s TV movie Agatha Christie’s Marple: A Caribbean Mystery and will appear alongside Julia McKenzie, who is reprising her role as Miss Marple.

EXCLUSIVE: Earlier today, TVWise broke the news that BBC Three had ordered a new two-hour drama titled One Day Like This. At the time of that previous report I was still waiting to hear back from some of my sources on casting. I have now heard back from those sources and I am being told that Sacha Parkinson (Coronation Street), Lily Loveless (Skins), Georgia Henshaw (Waterloo Road), Josh Bolt (Last Tango In Halifax), Lewis Rainer (Dani’s House) & Darcy Isa (Waterloo Road) have all been cast in the two-hour drama.

BBC One/Cinemax Eyeing Second Season Order For ‘Hunted’, Adds Ben Harris To Writing Team

EXCLUSIVE: Hunted, the new series from former X-Files producer Frank Spotnitz doesn’t premiere in the UK (on BBC One) until October 4th and in the US (on Cinemax) until October 19th, but sources tell me that both the BBC and Cinemax are already eyeing a possible second season order for the espionage themed series. To that end, I’m told that Kudos Film & TV (who produces Hunted in association with Frank Spotnitz’s Big Light Productions and HBO/Cinemax) have hired British writer Ben Harris to join the writing team for a potential second season. Harris, repped by Curtis Brown, has most recently been working on BBC One’s ten part series The Musketeers.
