BBC One Orders Military Drama ‘Our Girl’, Lacey Turner To Star

BBC One has given the green-light to Our Girl, a one-off 90 minute drama written by Tony Grounds. The military drama is a coming of age story which follows lead character Molly Dawes from civilian to soldier serving in Afghanistan. Lacey Turner (Bedlam) has been cast in the lead role as Molly, with production on the drama slated to commence later this month on location in Hertfordshire.

Consolidated Ratings: ‘Hunted’ Series Premiere Rises To 5.7 Million Viewers, Posting Gains Of 27%

With consolidated figures (live+7) now available, the Thursday October 4th series premiere of BBC One’s spy drama Hunted has seen its ratings rise to an impressive 5.7 million viewers. That is an increase of 1.2 million viewers or 27% on the overnights for the series in the 9pm time slot, where it initially pulled in 4.5 million viewers and a 19% share.

TNT Picks Up Frank Darabont’s ‘L.A. Noir’ To Series

And he’s back. TNT has picked up former Walking Dead showrunner Frank Darabont’s drama project L.A. Noir to series with a six episode order. The show’s first season is set to air on TNT in 2013, as part of the network’s push into year round programming.
