On the heels of handing Arrow a full season order, The CW has ordered three additional scripts each for freshman drama series Beauty And The Beast and Emily Owens, M.D.
Fox is giving its Tuesday night comedy block a real sign of confidence. Just one week after ordering an additional two episodes of The Mindy Project, the network has also ordered two more episodes for New Girl and Raising Hope. That brings the total number of episodes for all three shows to 24.
Showtime has renewed its drama seriesHomelandfor a third season of 12 episodes. The show’s third season is slated to enter production in the Spring for a Fall 2013 premiere.
The CW has handed a full season order to break out hit Arrow. The order, which brings the show’s first season to a total of 22 episodes, had been expected for some time.
Hunted continues to post significant ratings gains when consolidated figures (live+7) are factored in.
The season 1 premiere of Face Off on Syfy UK, which had originally been scheduled for Monday October 22nd at 9pm, has been pushed back a week and will now premiere on Monday October 29th at 9pm. No reason was given for the scheduling change.
The fourth season of Flashpoint is on the move…..again. After initially announcing that the fourth season of the Canadian cop drama (mistakenly labelled as season 3 by Universal) would premiere on Monday November 5th at 6pm, Universal Channel has now announced that the show’s fourth season will insted receive its UK premiere on Monday November 12th at 6pm.
EXCLUSIVE: Elisha Cuthbert is returning to E4. I have just learned that Channel 4 has closed a deal with Disney Media Distribution to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the third season of ABC’s comedy series Happy Endings for its E4 channel. I hear that the show’s 22 episode third season is tentatively scheduled to premiere on E4 in Spring 2013.
