EXCLUSIVE: Say goodbye to the Flynns. I have just learned that BBC One has cancelled In With The Flynns after airing two seasons (12 episodes) of the comedy series.
EXCLUSIVE: Zombies continue to be a hot TV subject. I’ve learned that E4 has put a 6 episode Zombie series into development. This project is an hour-long series and is being re-developed from a feature film produced in 2009 titled I Spit On Your Rave. That feature, which was a co-production between Film4 and Warp Films, was filmed at The Big Chill Festival 2009 and was supposed to be released in 2010. I hear that the feature never saw the light of day and instead the decision was made to re-develop the film as a weekly series for E4 earlier this year. Details are being kept firmly under wraps, but I hear that E4 has commissioned six scripts which are being written by Chris Boyle. Word is that the weekly series will incorporate as much of the footage shot in 2009 as possible. As the production company behind the original feature, I’m told that Warp Films will produce the series, should it receive a pick up, with Peter Carlton serving as producer.
