UKTV Acquires NBC’s ‘Do No Harm’, Renews Licensing Deals For ‘Grimm’ & ‘Suits’

UKTV has closed a deal with NBCUniversal International Television Distribution to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to NBC’s mid-season drama series Do No Harm for its Watch channel. In addition, the broadcaster has also renewed its existing licensing deals with the distributor and picked up future seasons of Grimm (which airs on Watch) and Suits (which airs on Dave). The pick up of future seasons of both Grimm and Suits had been expected for some time as both show’s have proven to be big hits for their respective channels. The first season of Grimm averaged just over one million viewers per episode for Watch and Suits pulled in an average audience of 700 000 viewers per episode during its first season on Dave.

MTV Picks Up UK Rights To Dramedy Series ‘Underemployed’

MTV UK & Ireland has picked up the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the first season of  Underemployed – the scripted dramedy series which airs on the US MTV channel, it has been announced. The show’s 12 episode first season is set to receive its UK premiere on MTV in February.
