LOVEFiLM has struck a deal with BBC Worldwide which will see a number of BBC kids shows made available to members of the streaming service. Show’s covered by this deal include including The Story of Tracy Beaker, Teletubbies, The Sarah Jane Adventures and Balamory. This deal follows on from a recent deal with Saban Brands to bring Power Rangers to LOVEFiLM and comes as one of the company’s main competitors, Netflix, is producing its first original kids series titled Turbo: F.A.S.T.

Fresh on the heels of sister channel Sky Atlantic commissioning a new comedy series titled Mr Sloane from former Curb Your Enthusiasm executive producer Robert B. Weide, Sky1 has renewed its comedy series Moone Boy for a third season and given the green-light to a new 8 episode comedy series titled Yonderland from the main cast of Horrible Histories. The renewal of Moone Boy comes before the show’s second season has even aired.

The second season of Jersey Shore spin-off Snooki & JWOWW will receive its UK premiere on MTV on Tuesday April 16th at 9pm, it has been announced.
