Over the past three weeks, TVWise broke the news that Jamie Bamber, Pippa Bennett-Warner and Rhashan Stone had all been cast in Sky1’s upcoming 8 episode firefighter drama series The Smoke, which is being directed by Mike Barker. Sky1 confirmed our scoops today and also announced that Jodie Whitaker (Broadchurch), Gerard Kearns (Shamless) and Taron Egerton (Lewis) have also been cast in the series.
