EXCLUSIVE: With pilot season and the LA Screenings now behind us, a myriad of UK broadcasters are deep in talks with the distribution arms of the big 6 studios in an attempt to lock down the exclusive UK rights to next season’s hit shows. Sky Atlantic Picks Up UK Rights To ‘Hello Ladies’, Sets Autumn Premiere

It has been considered a given, but Sky Atlantic today confirmed that, as part of the five year output deal that BSkyB signed with HBO in 2010, they have acquired first run on HBO’s upcoming Stephen Merchant fronted comedy series Hello Ladies. The channel also announced that the series will launch this Autumn alongside the 10 episode second season of political comedy series Veep.

Sky Living Acquires UK Rights To Fox’s ‘The Mob Doctor’

EXCLUSIVE: Dr Grace Devlin is making a stop in the UK. Multiple sources are telling me that Sky Living has closed a deal with Sony Pictures Television to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Fox’s short-lived drama series The Mob Doctor. I’m also told that the 13 episode series is slated to bow on the channel this Summer.

Fox Announces Fall Premiere Dates: Debuts Staggered Between September & November

Fox has unveiled their Fall premiere dates (they are the fourth network to do so after CBS, NBC and The CW) and revealed that they are staggering their premieres across September and November. The network is kicking things off on September 11th, a couple of weeks ahead of the traditional premiere week. Bones, Sleepy Hollow, Dads, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl, The Mindy Project and Glee launch in early September, with The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy and American Dad following later in the month. Up last is Almost Human, Raising Hope and Enlisted, all of which debut in November.
