The BBC is getting back into business with writer Abi Morgan, who just won an Emmy for her work on the recently cancelled BBC Two drama series The Hour. BBC One has ordered a new six episode drama series created by Morgan titled River. Production on the series is set to commence next year, with BBC One eyeing a 2015 premiere.
UKTV’s Dave channel has ordered a celebrity comedy travel series titled Spending Dave’s Money, which hails from Renegade Pictures. The five episode series, which was ordered by UKTV Senior Commissioning Editor Richard Watsham and General Manager of Dave Steve North, is scheduled to air on Dave in 2014.

They join previously announced main cast member Roisin Conaty (Man Down), who also created the comedy.
