Comedy Central Acquires UK Rights To ‘The Office’ Seasons 8 & 9
Comedy Central UK has closed a deal with NBCUniversal International Television Distribution to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the eighth and ninth seasons of NBC’s comedy series The Office. The show’s eighth season is set to premiere on the channel on Wednesday October 16th at 10:30pm, as part of Comedy Central UK’s new comedy block which also features The Millers and Two And A Half Men.

The CW has ordered three additional scripts for their freshman drama series’ The Originals, The Tomorrow People & Reign, TVWise has learned.
ABC has handed a full-season order to one of the breakout hits of the 2013-2014 season – Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The back nine order brings the total number of episodes ordered for the show’s first season to 22.
The fourth season of Sky1’s action series Strike Back (subtitled Shadow Warfare) – which is a co-production with HBO’s sister network Cinemax – will premiere on Monday October 28th at 9pm, it has been announced.
