CBS has picked up full seasons of their freshman comedy series The Crazy Ones, The Millers and Mom. The back nine orders bring the total number of episodes for the series’ first season to 22.
Only weeks after cancelling period piece Copper, BBC America is adding another drama series to its growing slate of originals – which already includes, amongst others, Orphan Black, Luther and Ripper Street. The network has handed an 8 episode straight-to-series order to Intruders, a new drama series which hails from BBC Worldwide and The X-Files & Millennium alum Glen Morgan.
Lifetime’s original TV movie Prosecuting Casey Anthony will receive its UK premiere on Lifetime UK on Thursday November 7th at 9pm, it has been announced.
BBC One has released a new trailer for the second season of their drama series Ripper Street, which is set to premiere on Monday October 28th at 9pm.

The network has handed a 13 episode straight-to-series order to Hieroglyph, a new action-adventure drama set in Ancient Egypt which hails from Travis Beacham, Chernin Entertainment and 20th Century Fox Entertainment.
Court is back in session. TNT has renewed their legal dramedy Franklin & Bash for a fourth season of 10 episodes, which is set to air next Summer.
Ahead of Lifetime UK’s launch on November 4th, parent company A+E Networks UK has acquired a number of TV movies for the channel’s launch schedule. The company has sealed deals, with various distributors, to pick up the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the Lifetime original movies An Officer And A Murderer, Betty & Coretta & Prosecuting Casey Anthony. The TV movies, which will air on Lifetime UK as part of a strand titled Lifetime Drama Specials, are set to debut of Lifetime later this year.
The second season of Cinemax’s original drama series Banshee will premiere on Friday January 10th at 10/9c, the network has announced.
