The series was adapted for television by Peter Harness (who is writing all 7 episodes), with Toby Haynes attached to direct. Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell is being produced by Cuba Pictures and is being co-produced with BBC America, in association with Feel Film, Far Moor, Screen Yorkshire and Bell Media’s Space. The series stars Eddie Marsan (Ray Donovan), Bertie Carvel (Hidden), Alice Englert (Beautiful Creatures), Marc Warren (Mad Dogs), Samuel West (Fleming), Charlotte Riley (Easy Virtue), Enzo Cilenti (Prisoners Wives) and Paul Kaye (Game of Thrones).
