FX has picked up their drama project The Strain to series with a 13 episode order, TVWise has learned.

Following Fox’s lead, ABC is the second broadcast network to announce their midseason schedule. One of the more notable changes is that as of March 9th, ABC is bumping Revenge to 10pm, with freshman series Resurrection taking the 9pm slot. Meanwhile, Mixology will assume Super Fun Night‘s time slot on Wednesday February 26th.

Channel 4 Orders Two Drama Series From Russell T. Davies
Channel 4 is getting back into business with Russell T. Davies. The broadcaster has ordered two new drama series which promise to explore Gay life in the 21st century, both of which hail from Davies, who was behind Channel 4’s hit series Queer As Folk before moving on to re-launch Doctor Who for the BBC. Channel 4 has also ordered an online factual series which is inspired by the two drama series.

Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad) and Oscar nominee Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook) have joined the cast of Fox upcoming limited event series Gracepoint, which is an adaptation of the his British series Broadchurch. The join previously announced main cast member David Tennant (Doctor Who), who also stars in the original British series.
