Channel 5 has closed a deal with Beta Film to acquire the excusive first run UK broadcast rights to Hallmark’s original drama series Cedar Cove for their 5USA channel. The show’s first season, which consists of a two-hour pilot and twelve hour-long episodes, is set to premiere on 5USA on Sunday February 9th at 4pm.

Sky Arts has closed a deal to acquire the UK broadcast rights to The Legacy (AKA Arvingerne), the Danish drama series which hails from the production company behind The Killing & Borgen and started airing on DR1 in Denmark earlier this month.

After piloting the updated project with a Christmas special on Boxing Day, BBC One has picked Still Open All Hours to series with a 6 episode order. Production on the series will take place in Doncaster, with BBC One eyeing a late 2014 premiere.
