Bottom plays next to bottom in the Premier League this afternoon.

Coventry are 17th after back to back wins over Nottingham Forest and Newcastle were followed by a 3-1 defeat at Tottenham on Monday. Frank Lampard felt the scoreline flattered his opponents.

Jack Rudoni has scored in each of the last two and will look to make it three in a row.

Coventry’s home form was the foundation of last season’s Championship title and they will be hoping to rediscover it against two more bottom-half sides in the coming weeks.

Fulham are one place and one point above them in 18th, having finally picked up a first win of the season against Hull.

Alex Iwobi’s goal settled it, and Alvaro Arbeloa’s side dominated possession throughout.

That followed a defeat at Ipswich in which they let a lead slip late on.

Fulham have gone eight away league games without a win, alternating between draws and defeats, and have not taken three points on the road since February.
