Can I watch Hibernian v Aberdeen on TV?

Six consecutive home league defeats is a club record Hibernian would rather not extend, and it is the backdrop to everything about Saturday. Gray paid for the latest one, a 1-0 reverse against a Kilmarnock side who had not won all season.

It has not all been grim. Hibs won at Ibrox and at Dundee inside the opening three games, Callum Wright settling the Rangers game late, and they put three past Ross County in the League Cup.

Away from Easter Road they look a different side entirely.

Hearts, St Johnstone and Kilmarnock have all beaten them since, and the summer brought elimination from the Conference League qualifiers. Potter takes charge without Kanayochukwu Megwa, Jordan Obita and Rocky Bushiri, though the rest of the squad is available.

Aberdeen sit a place and a point above them and went to Fir Park last weekend to win 4-0, ending a four-game winless run in the league.

Their campaign opened with a 2-1 win over Hearts before three defeats and a draw, so Stephen Robinson will be curious which version of his team turns up. Kevin Nisbet got his 11th goal of the season against Motherwell and should start alongside Toyosi Olusanya.

Bradley Lyons, Emmanuel Gyamfi, Kristers Tobers and Kusini Yengi are all injured. Aberdeen beat Hibs 2-0 as recently as April, but they have not won at Easter Road in their last three attempts, which is about the only thing working in the home side’s favour.
