BBC One Sets UK Premiere Date For Bump
BBC One has set a UK premiere date for Bump, the Australian comedy drama, with the series beginning on Wednesday October 20th and also available on BBC iPlayer.
Co-created by Claudia Karvan and Kelsey Munro, Bump follows Olympia “Oly” Chalmers-Davis, a tightly organised and ambitious Year 11 student with a detailed ten-year plan, whose life is turned upside down when she collapses at school and discovers she is in labour, having had no idea she was pregnant. The complications that follow draw together two very different families.
Nathalie Morris stars as Oly, with Carlos Sanson Jr as Santi, the baby’s father and a fellow student. Claudia Karvan, who also produces, plays Oly’s mother Angie, alongside Angus Sampson as her father Dom. The ten-part series originally aired on the streaming service Stan in Australia.
Distributed internationally by ITV Studios, the series has been picked up by the BBC for both BBC One and iPlayer.
