ITV Releases Trailer For Delayed ‘Hatton Garden’ Drama

ITV has released the trailer for its long delayed drama Hatton Garden, which is now set to air in May.

The four-part series dramatises the 2015 Hatton Garden safe deposit burglary, in which a gang of ageing career criminals broke into the vault in London’s jewellery quarter over the Easter bank holiday weekend, in what became one of the largest burglaries in English legal history.

It follows how the raid was planned and pulled off, and the police investigation that followed.

The drama was written by Jeff Pope, whose credits include Philomena and Stan and Ollie, together with Terry Winsor, and is directed by Paul Whittington.

It stars Timothy Spall, Kenneth Cranham, David Hayman, Alex Norton and Brian F. O’Byrne. The production had originally been scheduled for late 2017 but was held back for legal reasons while the real-life court proceedings concluded.
