After winning their four starting games of the 2025-26 UCL campaign on the trot, Inter Milan have now been handed consecutive defeats against Atletico Madrid and Liverpool.

Christian Chivu’s men still remain in sixth position in the coveted Top 8 spots and will be expected to comfortably qualify for the Round of 16.

The recent record of the Nerazzurri will provide the fans with much hope; Inter Milan have registered wins in six of their last eight games in all competitions.

Arsenal have made a flawless start to the league stage of the Champions League, winning all six of their matches and conceding just once along the way.

Five of those victories have come with clean sheets, underlining the defensive authority of Arsenal, with Bayern Munich the only side able to find a way past them so far.

Opponents Inter also began the campaign strongly, collecting 12 points from their opening four fixtures. That form has left them, however, following a 2-1 defeat away to Atletico Madrid which brought their winning run to an end.

Inter’s problems were compounded last month when they suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Liverpool. In that match at San Siro, the Italian side were limited to just two shots on target, a performance that raised questions about their attacking threat against well organised opposition.

Arsenal should find a way through tonight and put more points on the board.
