Netflix has set a premiere date for the third season of Lovesick, with all eight episodes of the British comedy arriving on New Year’s Day.
Created by Tom Edge and first shown on Channel 4 under the title Scrotal Recall, the series follows a group of friends sharing a house in Glasgow. Johnny Flynn stars as Dylan, who, after being diagnosed with chlamydia, sets about contacting every former partner to break the news, with each episode flashing back to a different past relationship.
By the third and final season, that original mission is complete, and the story turns more openly to the long-running question of Dylan and his best friend Evie, played by Antonia Thomas, just as his relationship with Abigail is getting serious. Daniel Ings and Joshua McGuire return as flatmates Luke and Angus.
