Channel 5 has set a UK premiere date for NCIS: New Orleans, the latest spin-off in the NCIS franchise, with the series starting on Friday February 20th at 9pm.
Created by Gary Glasberg and first introduced through a two-part episode of the parent show, the drama is set and filmed in New Orleans. Scott Bakula stars as Special Agent Dwayne Pride, who heads the local NCIS field office and investigates crimes involving military personnel across the Gulf Coast, all while remaining deeply tied to the city he calls home.
Lucas Black and Zoe McLellan play the agents on Pride’s team, with CCH Pounder as medical examiner Dr Loretta Wade. As with its sister shows, the series mixes weekly cases with the camaraderie of the squad, this time wrapped in the music and character of New Orleans.
