E4 has set a UK premiere date for the fourth season of Revenge, with the ABC drama returning on Monday January 5th at 9pm.
Created by Mike Kelley, Revenge is a modern-day reworking of The Count of Monte Cristo. Emily VanCamp stars as Emily Thorne, a young woman who arrives in the Hamptons under an assumed name to take down the wealthy family who framed her father for a crime he did not commit. Madeleine Stowe plays her chief adversary, the formidable Victoria Grayson.
The opening episode, Renaissance, sees Emily throw her most surprising party yet while Victoria looks to turn her greatest setback into an advantage. Hanging over both of them is Emily’s father, David Clarke, whose return sets the season’s events in motion.
The cast also includes Gabriel Mann, Nick Wechsler, Joshua Bowman, Christa B. Allen, James Tupper and Karine Vanasse. The series is produced by ABC Studios.
