Sky Living has set a UK premiere date for the third season of Elementary, with the Sherlock Holmes drama returning on Tuesday November 11th.
Created by Robert Doherty, the series relocates Conan Doyle’s detective to present-day New York, with Jonny Lee Miller as Holmes and Lucy Liu as Joan Watson. The new run picks up after a long spell apart for the pair: Holmes has been away in London working for MI6, while Watson has moved out of the brownstone to set up her own private investigation practice.
Holmes returns to New York with a new protégée in tow, Kitty Winter, played by Ophelia Lovibond, and sets about trying to repair his frayed partnership with Watson. Aidan Quinn and Jon Michael Hill also return as Captain Gregson and Detective Bell.
