Netflix UK has released a trailer for Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad prequel that arrives on the service next month. New episodes will land on Netflix in the UK and Ireland the day after they air on AMC in the United States.
Created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, the show is set in Albuquerque around six years before the events of Breaking Bad. Bob Odenkirk returns as Jimmy McGill, a struggling small-time lawyer working out of the back of a nail salon, charting the road that eventually turns him into the morally flexible Saul Goodman.
Jonathan Banks also reprises his Breaking Bad role as the fixer Mike Ehrmantraut. The cast further includes Michael McKean as Jimmy’s brother Chuck, a respected former attorney, and Rhea Seehorn as fellow lawyer Kim Wexler.
The series premieres in the US on AMC in February, with the trailer offering UK viewers a first proper look ahead of its arrival on Netflix.
