ITV Sets Premiere Date for Unforgotten Season 3

ITV has set a premiere date for the third series of Unforgotten, with the cold case crime drama returning on Sunday July 15th at 9pm.

Created and written by Chris Lang and directed by Andy Wilson, Unforgotten follows London detectives DCI Cassie Stuart and DI Sunny Khan, played by Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar, as they reopen long-buried murder cases. The six-part third series centres on the death of a teenage girl who disappeared on New Year’s Eve in 1999, after her remains are uncovered by workmen during repairs to the central reservation of the M1.

As in previous series, the investigation slowly draws in a group of seemingly unconnected people, this time four childhood friends who come under suspicion as the detectives piece the case together. Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar return in the lead roles, with Peter Egan again playing Cassie’s father.

The series was filmed at locations across southern England, including Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Bristol and Norfolk.
