ITV has released the trailer for the third season of Unforgotten, which is set to premiere next month.
From Chris Lang, Unforgotten follows DCI Cassie Stuart and DI Sunil ‘Sunny’ Khan as they work a cold-case and the ensuing fall-out of the investigation. Each season focuses on a new case. The drama series is produced by Mainstreet Pictures and stars Nicola Walker (Spooks) and Sanjeev Bhaskar (The Kumars).
In seasons three, Alex Jennings (The Crown) Kevin R McNally (Designated Survivor), Neil Morrissey (Line Of Duty) and James Fleet (Indian Summers) play a close-knit group of old school friends that have stood by one another through thick and thin. However, when the body of a teenage girl who went missing at the turn of the millenium is found at a building site off the M1 motorway, the four men are placed under the spotlight and their relationships are tested to the limit.
