BBC One’s new World War One drama series The Passing Bells will premiere on Monday November 3rd at 7pm, and will be stripped across the week, TVWise has learned.
Created by Tony Jordan, The Passing Bells tells the story of two very ordinary young men who enlist in a war they expect will be over within months. As the conflict unfolds, so do the boys stories, as they grow up amid the horror of war, and find love. Each episode covers one of the five years of the war. The drama series is produced by Red Planet Pictures, Apple Film Production & BBC Cymru Wales and stars Paddy Gibson, Jack Lowden, Charles Furness, Brian Fletcher, Wilf Scolding, Hubert Burton, Felix Auer, Ben McGregor, Mark Burghagen, Matthew Aubrey, Eryka Karkuszewska and Sabrina Bartlett.
