Elliot Knight is about to learn How To Get Away With Murder.
The British actor has landed a guest starring role on Shonda Rhimes’ new ABC series How To Get Away With Murder, TVWise has learned exclusively.
How To Get Away With Murder is described as a sexy, suspense-driven legal thriller about a group of ambitious law students and their brilliant, mysterious criminal defense professor who become entangled in a murder plot that will rock the entire university and change the course of their lives.
Exact details of Knight’s are being kept under wraps, but sources tell TVWise that he will appear in the third episode of the show’s first season. He is set to star opposite a cast which includes Viola Davis, Matt McGorry, Aja Naomi King, Jack Falahee, Alfred Enoch Billy Brown, Katie Findlay, Karla Souza, Charlie Weber and Liza Weil.
Elliot Knight, repped by Payne Management, got his first big break on the Sky1 fantasy series Sinbad, on which he played the titular character. Since then, Knight has gone on to star in BBC One’s By Any Means, ITV’s Law & Order: UK and upcoming feature film Take Down. He is also no stranger to US television, having recently starred in ABC’s Dangerous Liaisons pilot, which did not go to series.
The latest entry from prolific producer Shonda Rhimes, How To Get Away With Murder was created by Peter Nowalk and is produced by Rhimes’ banner Shondaland and ABC Studios. The series, which premieres on Thursday September 25th, is executive produced by Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers and Peter Nowalk.
