AMC UK has acquired the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the first two seasons of WGN America atomic bomb period drama Manhattan, and all eight seasons of Showtime's dark-comedy series Weeds - the final two seasons of which have never aired on UK television following Sky Atlantic's decision to drop the series in 2013. Both Manhattan and Weeds were acquired in a deal with Lionsgate Television.
