BBC Two has rounded out the cast of The Luminaries. Himesh Patel (The Aeronauts), Ewen Leslie (The Cry) Erik Thomson (The Code), Benedict Hardie (Hacksaw Ridge), Yoson An (Dead Lucky) and newcomer Richard Te Are have joined the cast of the Eleanor Catton adaptation. They join previously announced cast members Eve Hewson (Robin Hood), Eva Green (Penny Dreadful) and Marton Csokas (Into The Badlands).

Eleanor Catton To Adapt Her Novel ‘The Luminaries’ As TV Series For BBC Two

Eleanor Catton has signed on to adapt her Man Booker Prize winning novel The Luminaries as a television series for BBC Two, who have picked up the project with a six episode straight-to-series order, TVWise has learned. The drama series is set to be officially announced by BBC Two Channel Editor Patrick Holland during his Meet The Controller session at the Edinburgh International Television Festival on Friday.
