‘Britain’s Next Top Model’ Revived At Lifetime UK With 10 Episode Order
Britain's Next Top Model is making a comeback. Some two years after Sky Living cancelled the series, Lifetime UK has commissioned Thumbs Up Productions to produce a new version of the series, after they secured the format rights in a deal with CBS Studios International. Lifetime UK has ordered ten episodes for the debut season of the new format, which does not include Ireland in that title due to licensing restrictions. Production will get underway this September in the UK and abroad for a 2016 premiere. 
Sky1 has closed a deal with CBS Studios International to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to CBS' upcoming 13 episode summer series Zoo, which is based on the James Patterson novel of the same name. 
The Good Wife, NCIS: Los Angeles and Extant have firmly established themselves as ratings hits here in the UK, with the three series pulling in big ratings for their respective broadcasters. In addition, a wealth of other series distributed by CBSSI, such as NCIS, Scorpion and Elementary, also continue to draw big ratings in the UK.
CBS Studios International has taken the format rights to airplane game show The Game Plane after agreeing a licensing deal with series producer Alpine Labs. The deal gives CBSSI format rights in all territories except the United States and Canada.
Channel 5 has struck a deal with CBS Studios International to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to 'NCIS: New Orleans' and 'CSI: Cyber'.
