Comic Book Adaptation ‘Brooklyn Animal Control’ Gets Pilot Order At USA Network
Hollywood's obsession with comic books continues... USA Network has handed out a pilot order to Brooklyn Animal Control, an adaptation of the comic book of the same name by JT Petty and IDW Publishing. Brooklyn Animal Control follows the inner workings of a secret subdivision of the NYPD that functions as social services for the city’s werewolves. 

USA Network has handed out a sizeable retainer to Pearson Specter Litt. The NBCU owned cable network has renewed legal dramedy Suits for a sixth season, a mere two weeks after the show kick off its fifth season. USA has ordered 16 episodes for the show's sixth season, which is expected to premiere next Summer.
Aloma Wright is suiting up. The former Scrubs star has joined the cast of USA Network's legal dramedy Suits in a recurring role for its 16 episode fifth season. Wright, whose previous credits also include The Soul Man, Scandal, Private Practice and The Middle, will play Gretchen Bodinski, Harvey Specter's (Gabriel Macht) new secretary. She is described as being "experienced" and is not afraid to speak her mind and as such brings a "fresh perspective" to the firm.
In what can only be described as a remarkable sign of confidence, USA Network has handed out an early renewal to their newest drama series Mr. Robot. The series, which premiered last night on USA, will return for a second season in 2016. The exact size of the order for season two has not yet been set, but it will be at least 10 episodes.
USA Network has tapped Allegiance alum Morgan Spector for a starring role in their period drama pilot Paradise Pictures, from Suits creator Aaron Korsh and sister studio Universal Cable Productions.
Alphas alum John Pyper-Ferguson has been tapped for a "major recurring role" on the upcoming fifth season of USA Network's legal dramedy Suits, TVWise has confirmed.
