Universal TV Acquires Fox’s Kelsey Grammer Legal Drama ‘Proven Innocent’
EXCLUSIVE: Kelsey Grammer's new TV project has found a UK home. Universal TV has acquired the exclusive UK rights to legal drama Proven Innocent after striking a deal with international distributor Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution. The series is set to premiere on Universal TV in March. 
The second season of CBC's legal drama Burden Of Truth will receive its UK premiere on Universal TV on Thursday February 7th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Universal TV is adding another Canadian drama to their schedule. The NBCU owned and operated channel has acquired the UK rights conspiracy thriller Departure, starring Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife). The six episode series is set to air on Universal TV later this year.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will return to Universal TV to finish airing its twentieth season from Wednesday January 30th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Fox's medical drama The Resident will return to Universal TV to finish airing its second season from Tuesday January 29th at 9pm, it has been announced. 
RTÉ's drama series Acceptable Risk will receive its UK premiere on Universal TV on Thursday December 6th at 9pm with a double-bill, it has been announced.
