Mark Bonnar (Line Of Duty, Casualty) is joining the cast of ITV's cold case drama series Unforgotten for its second season, TVWise has learned. While there are no specifics on the character he will be playing, Bonnar joins returning cast members Nicola Walker (Spooks) and Sanjeev Bhaskar (The Kumars). 
ITV has renewed their newest hit drama series Unforgotten for a second season, TVWise has learned. The renewal, which was announced seconds after the season one finale finished airing, is for a further six episodes. ITV's six episode thriller series Unforgotten from former ITV drama executives Laura Mackie and Sally Haynes’ fledgling indie Mainstreet Pictures will premiere on Thursday October 8th at 9pm, it has been announced. 
ITV has given the greenlight to 'The Forgotten', a six episode thriller series about a cold murder investigation which is being produced by Mainstreet Pictures - the indie that was recently set up by the former ITV drama commissioners, who previously greenlit such series as 'Downton Abbey' and 'Broadchurch'.
