William Shatner Lands Guest Role On ‘Murdoch Mysteries’
William Shatner has been tapped for a guest starring role on the CBC/UKTV co-production Murdoch Mysteries for its upcoming 18 episode ninth season, which is now in production in Canada for an Autumn 2015 premiere on CBC and a 2016 premiere on UKTV's Alibi channel. 

Things are looking up for UKTV. The commercial network, which is a joint venture between BBC Worldwide and Scripps Networks Interactive, has unveiled their financial results for 2014 and revealed that revenue had surged to a record high £283 million, up from 2013's £278 million - making UKTV the fastest growing broadcaster in Britain. 
Dave has renewed hit sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf for two more seasons, the show's eleventh and twelfth. The UKTV owned and operated channel has ordered a further 12 episodes which will be evenly split across Red Dwarf XI and Red Dwarf XII. Production begins this summer, with Red Dwarf XI eyed for a 2016 premiere and Red Dwarf XII following in 2017. 

UKTV's Gold channel has given the green-light to The Interviews, a six episode biography series which aims to explore the personal and professional lives of a range of celebrities.
