Some two months after The Guardian announced that they would no longer be producing TV review show Telly Addict, critic and host Andrew Collins has brought the format to UKTV. The multi-channel broadcaster will now produce ten minute episodes of Telly Addict, which will be made available on their YouTube channel. 
The seventh and final season of TNT’s crime procedural Rizzoli & Isles will receive its UK premiere on UKTV’s Alibi channel on Wednesday August 24th at 9pm, it has been announced. 
UKTV has inked a "landmark" deal with Virgin Media which gives the cable company more than 10, 000 hours of UKTV content across original series and US & UK acquisitions, including a wealth of programmes from the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. 
Fresh off of launching the first ever marketing campaign for UKTV Play, UKTV has revamped the user interface of their VOD hub. UKTV Play will now feature a better organised homepage, higher-quality programme images and the introduction of easy-to-view genre listings. In an attempt to boost growth, UKTV has launched an "innovative" new marketing campaign for their video-on-demand service UKTV Play. 
UKTV's is (ever so slightly) tweaking their scheduling plans for their newest acquisition Rosewood, which they picked up last week in a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution. The company's pay channel Alibi has announced that the first season of the Morris Chestnut starrer will now premiere on Tuesday July 26th at 8pm. (The show's first season was initially set to premiere on the same day in the 9pm slot). 
Samantha Bond (Downton Abbey), Daniel Maslany (Four in the Morning) and Bea Santos (World Away) have been tapped for gust starring roles in the upcoming tenth season of Canadian period drama Murdoch Mysteries, TVWise has learned.
