UKTV’s Alibi Secures UK Rights To ‘Quantico’ Season 3, W Picks Up ‘Code Black’ Seasons 3 & 4
Quantico and Code Black are returning to the UK. As part of their bumper licensing agreement with Disney Media Distribution, UKTV's Alibi has secured the rights to the third season of ABC's drama series Quantico and W has picked up the third season of CBS' medical drama Code Black. Additionally, UKTV has pre-bought the rights to a potential fourth season of Code Black. 
UKTV has agreed a bumper deal with Disney Media Distribution to secure the exclusive UK rights to ABC's comedy series American Housewife, Cold War espionage thriller The Assets and Australian drama Harrow. American Housewife and The Assets will air on W, while Harrow will air on Alibi.
UKTV has a hit on their hands with Taskmaster. The sixth season of the Greg Davies and Alex Horne fronted series kicked off on Dave last night to record ratings. Per the overnights, Taskmaster peaked with 778 000 viewers - the highest overnight rating in the show's history. The season premiere was also watched by more 25-34-year-olds than any other channel in it's slot last night, with the show’s 11.9% share of the demo up from a 2.1% slot average; beating both BBC1 and ITV.
UKTV's Dave channel has given the green-light to Modern Wheels Or Classic Steals, a car buying series fronted by car dealer and racing driver Rebecca Jackson and former model and car-collecting owner of The London Motor Museum Elo.
W has handed out a two-season renewal to Inside The Ambulance. UKTV's flagship entertainment has ordered ten episodes for both seasons four and five, which will air later this year.
UKTV's flagship entertainment channel W has given the green-light to Sex, Knives & Liposuction - a three-episode documentary series fronted by Cherry Healey that will explore the world of cosmetic surgery.
Dave is sticking with two of their original scripted comedies. The UKTV owned and operated channel has renewed fantasy sitcom Zapped and NHS comedy Porters. Zapped will return for a third season, while Porters will return for season two. Both have received six episode orders and will return to Dave later this year.
