UKTV’s W Orders Val Thorens Medical Emergency Series ‘Ski A&E’
UKTV's W channel has ordered Ski A&E, a ten episode series following the medical emergency teams at Val Thorens - one of the highest ski resorts in Europe that attracts over 400,000 visitors each year. 
Red Arrow Studios International has secured the international distribution rights to Renovate Don’t Relocate, which was commissioned last June by UKTV for their free-to-air Really channel. Red Arrow is handling both format and finished tape sales and will launch it at MIPTV in April.
UKTV's Alibi channel has handed out a six episode series order to Traces, an original drama based on an idea by best-selling crime writer Val McDermid which hails from Red Production Company. This marks the first original drama commission for Alibi. Traces explores the world of SIFA, the Scottish Institute of Forensic Science, and follows Emma Hedges, Prof. Sarah Gordon and Prof. Kathy Torrance - who together will use the rigors of forensics to uncover the truth about an unsolved murder case.
After eight years in the role, UKTV's Chief Executive Officer Darren Childs is exiting the company. He will officially step down on July 1st. UKTV said that, while Childs remains in post, the board will explore new leadership options for the next phase of the company's growth.
Australian drama series Bite Club will receive its UK premiere on UKTV's Alibi channel on Wednesday February 20th at 9pm with a double-bill, it has been announced.
