FOX UK has picked up the UK rights to the third season of FX's geo-political thriller series Tyrant from international distributor Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, TVWise has learned. The show's third season will premiere on FOX UK on Monday August 1st at 9pm.

FX is the latest network to unveil their Summer schedule. The cabler announced Wednesday that they had set premiere dates for the second seasons of Tyrant and comedy Married, as well as a launch date for new comedy Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll. FX also said that the second season of The Strain, from Guillermo del Toro and Carlton Cuse, will premiere this Summer, though no formal date has been set.
