TNT’s ‘Major Crimes’ Renewed For Fifth Season
TNT is far from done with Captain Sharon Raydor and the detectives of the Major Crimes Division. The Turner owned cable network has renewed their hit series Major Crimes for a fifth season, to air in 2016. While a final episode order has not been set, sources tell TVWise that the initial order is for 15 episodes.
TNT has handed out a third season renewal to serialised crime drama Murder In The First, TVWise has learned. The network did not specify the size of the order for season three, but TVWise understands it is for ten episodes, down slightly from the twelve episodes ordered for season two.
Arjay Smith is staying in the TNT family. The former Perception star has been tapped for a recurring role on the network's flagship drama Major Crimes, TVWise has confirmed. Smith, who co-starred on all three seasons of Perception as Max Lewicki, has been cast as Dennis Price, a confident young man who has created a good business for himself as the neighborhood drug dealer.
Law & Order veteran Elisabeth Röhm has joined the cast of TNT's genre drama series The Last Ship in a recurring role for its thirteen episode third season, TVWise has learned. She will recur on The Last Ship as Allison Shaw, the newly appointed White House Chief Of Staff, serving under President of the United State Jeff Michener (Mark Moses, Homeland).
TNT has released a new trailer for their ten episode Sharon Stone fronted thriller series Agent X, which is set to premiere on Sunday November 8th at 9/8c.
TNT is adding to their development slate with a pilot order for Robbers, an hour-long crime drama which is based on the Christopher Cook novel of the same name which hails from Sony Pictures Television, author Christopher Cook and Michael Dinner.
