Sky One Orders ‘Aliens Love Underpants AND…’ Christmas Special, Matt Lucas & Ashley Jensen To Star
After producing a series of shorts for Sky's Sky Kids app, Tiger Aspect Productions has been commissioned to produce a thirty-minute Aliens Love Underpants AND... Christmas special for the satcaster's flagship channel Sky One. After airing on Sky One, the special will available on all Sky’s on demand platforms including the Sky Kids app and NOW TV. The Christmas special, titled Aliens Love Panta Claus, is based on the picture book of the same title written by Claire Freedman, illustrated by Ben Cort and published by Simon and Schuster. It sees the aliens giving away underpants because it’s Christmas. But when they realise they have a famous pair of underpants that could halt Christmas for everyone, they jump in to action to save the day and help Santa deliver all his presents by spaceship. 
Billy Zane (Titanic, Zoolander), Miranda Richardson (Stronger, Churchill), Michael Biehn (Aliens, The Terminator) and Harriet Walter (Law & Order: UK, The Crown) have joined the cast of Sky One's street racing drama series Curfew.
Channel 4 is teaming up with Mo Gilligan and Tiger Aspect Productions for a new entertainment format. The broadcaster has handed out a pilot order to Mo's Town, hosted by Gilligan and produced by the Ripper Street indie, which will be a mix of comedy, sketches, music, celebrity guests and audience interaction.
Fresh off of the season two finale, ITV has renewed The Good Karma Hospital for a third season. A further six episodes have been commissioned to air in 2019. The renewal comes after season two pulled in strong ratings for ITV. Season-to-date, The Good Karma Hospital has been averaging consolidated audiences of around six million viewers.

Amanda Redman (New Tricks) and Amrita Acharia (Game Of Thrones) have been set as the leads in The Good Karma Hospital, ITV's six-part medical drama from Mr Selfridge scribe Dan Sefton and independent production company Tiger Aspect Productions. The series is set in a coastal town in tropical South India and follows a team of British and Indian medics as they cope with work, life and love at the “Good Karma”.
BBC Two has released the first teaser image from their upcoming three-part comedy series Decline And Fall. The image in question shows Jack Whitehall in costume as lead character Paul Pennyfeather. “I am extremely pleased to be a part of this amazing adaptation by James Wood”, Whitehall said in a statement. “I’ve been a fan of this book since I read it as a teenager and I just hope that I can do it justice.”
