Savannah Steyn (The Tunnel, Wannabe), Parminder Nagra (Bend It Like Beckham, ER), Eleanor Tomlinson (Poldark), Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Sex Education), Natasha O’Keeffe (Peaky Blinders, Misfits), Thomas Turgoose (This is England) and Craig Parkinson (Line of Duty) have been cast in Sky One's ten-episode sci-fi drama Intergalactic.

‘The Mind Of Herbert Clunkerdunk’ Picked Up To Series At BBC Two

BBC Two has handed out a four episode series order to The Mind Of Herbert Clunkerdunk, after initially piloting the short-form project last year via Comedy Shorts. The Mind Of Herbert Clunkerdunk follows the titular character as he navigates his way through everyday life only to be constantly interrupted by his quirky imagination. The series stars Spencer Jones, Dom Coleman and Lucy Pearman.

Cameron Roach Named Sky’s Drama Director, Commissions New Dramas ‘Intergalactic’ & ‘Little Birds’

After serving as Acting Head of Drama since the exit of Anne Mensah, Cameron Roach has been promoted to fill the position on a permanent basis. His official title is Director of Drama and Sky Studios. He will report to Gary Davey, Managing Director of Sky Content. Roach has already commissioned his first two scripted projects as Director of Drama: sci-fi series Intergalactic for Sky One and period drama Little Birds for Sky Atlantic.

Sky Vision Taking Sky One Drama ‘Curfew’ To MIPCOM

Sky's production and distribution division Sky Vision is taking Curfew to MIPCOM in Cannes next month. Cast members Sean Bean, Phoebe Fox, Malachi Kirby and Billy Zane will all be in attendance on Monday 15th October to launch the street racing drama series to international buyers.

Brody, who played Seth Cohen on the Fox teen drama, has been cast as - and kudos to Sky's press office for the alliteration here - mysterious megalomaniac millionaire Max Larssen.

‘Peaky Blinders’ Moving From BBC Two To BBC One

Peaky Blinders is getting a promotion. The period drama from Steven Knight is relocating from its long-time home on BBC Two and moving to BBC One for its upcoming fifth season. The announcement was made today by the BBC's Director of Content Charlotte Moore at the Edinburgh TV Festival.
