The Originals has found a new UK home. Mere months after TVWise revealed that Syfy UK had dropped the Vampire Diaries spin-off, Netflix UK has swooped in a secured the UK rights to the series in a deal with international distributor Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. The show's first three seasons are now available to stream for Netflix UK subscribers. EXCLUSIVE: Syfy UK has opted no to renew their licensing deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution for The Originals after airing the first two seasons of The Vampire Diaries spin-off, TVWise has learned exclusively. 
At their executive session at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour, The CW announced that they had renewed Arrow, The Flash, Supernatural, Jane The Virgin, The 100, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals and Reign for next season. The Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals will return to Syfy UK to finish airing its second season from Tuesday February 24th at 10pm, it has been announced.
